Middle School Humanities Teacher

6th - 8th Grade Humanities Teacher & Crew Leader | 2023-24 School Year

Description: This position is a full-time faculty teaching position at Wellspring Catholic Academy of St. Bernadette. This teacher will be responsible for the instruction of 6th, 7th, & 8th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies as well as serving as a middle school crew leader (Relevant curricula: Archdiocese of Denver Reading, Writing and History standards). This teacher, as a member of the middle school teaching team, will by consistently collaborating with the other teachers on this team to ensure consistency of instructional practice and a thriving middle school environment.

> Contract Year: August 14th, 2023 - June 3rd, 2024

> Compensation & Benefits: Typical Annual Salary Range: $40,000 - $56,000. Salary scale starts at $36,798.00 (Bachelor's Degree, 0 Yrs Experience), and goes up according to the Archdiocese of Denver pay scale, based on education level and years of experience. > Desired Skills & Experience:
o Teaching or Work experience in field related to the content and/or grade level you will work with.
o Familiarity with educational technology, including but not limited to Chromebooks & Tablets, Educational apps, Smartboards, Google Apps (Drive, Docs, Sheets), and Microsoft Office software.
o English-Spanish Bilingualism: Able to speak, read, and write fluently in both English & Spanish.
