Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic committed individual to serve as a Science Teacher. This is a full-time, at- will opening for the 2023-2024 School Year beginning August 2023.
Position Overview
Mullen High School is seeking to hire an energetic committed teacher to teach Biology, Biotechnology and Physical Science (and other potential science courses). This is a full-time position for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.
The applicant would be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The applicant must be able to plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences and establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
This is a full-time, at- will position for the 2023-2024 school year beginning August 2023.
Salary Range: $34,529-$78,791 depending on education and background
Mullen reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range

Teacher

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related subject is required; Master's degree is preferred
Teaching certificate in Science
Strong commitment and desire to work with youth and adults in a collaborative environment

Ability to utilize technology and integrate the use of technology to instruct and provide feedback on student's performance and development

Experience
Minimum of two (2) years successful teaching experience preferred.
Prior experience of teaching high school, preferably science courses preferred.
