Our Lady of the Pines is looking for a Facilities Assistant to support the Director of Facilities with maintenance and additional projects on the campus: - Must possess some knowledge of general maintenance and repairs for facilities and grounds. - Must be able to climb ladders safely to reach things above head height (i.e. changing light bulbs, accessing items on a shelf, etc.). - Must be able to load and unload chairs/tables from a chair rack or storage area in order to setup chairs/tables in designated locations/arrangements as needed for church events. - Must be able to communicate efficiently and effectively through written and verbal communication with Director of Facilities and other staff. - Must be able to receive instruction (through verbal or written directions, and/or visual and hands-on demonstration) and quickly and easily translate that instruction into the ability to perform assigned duties. - Must be able to perform assigned tasks and duties without constant oversight. - Must have sufficient and adequate clothing/personal protective items (coats, boots, rain gear, etc.) to remain safe from hazards and elements when performing duties inside and outside buildings on church campus.
