Job Title: Events Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Advancement, HFHS

Summary Job Description: The Events Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Advancement and the Advancement team. The primary role of the Events Coordinator is to ensure the successful coordination of annual advancement department events, as well as additional school events deemed necessary. Properly planned and executed fundraising events are essential to the continued success of Holy Family High School.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Coordinate all arrangements for HFHS advancement events such as: Tiger Golf Classic, Tiger Gala, Tree and Wreath, Holy Family Nights and more.
Execute other fundraising events and projects as needed, including but not limited to: Military and 1st Responders Appreciation Night, Grandparents Breakfast, Principal's Reception, Colorado Gives Day & Annual Appeal.
Negotiate agreements with vendors (catering, locations, AV, etc.) with input from Director of Advancement and Director of Alumni Relations.
Work within approved budget(s) and prepare accurate records for accounting.
Coordinate all volunteer efforts for HFHS advancement events.
Work in conjunction with Director of Communications to publicize all events internally and externally to the HF community through, but not limited to, Tiger Alert, Constant Contact, FB, Twitter, student announcements.
Continually evaluate events for cost savings and improvement.
Deliver polished presentations in front of groups from 20 - 600
Data entry in Raisers Edge database.
Manage several parent committees and parent volunteers.
Work as a liaison between school, board of directors, business partners, vendors and event committees.
Work nights and weekends as needed.
Assist with Stewardship components to help the cultivation with donors.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Excellent relationship building skills, time management, follow-up, logistics, multi-tasking and hospitality skills are a must. Ability to change directions as needed. Plus, a proven track record of working with a diverse amount of donors, parents, volunteers, students, faculty and alumni who all share the dedication to our mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience as Events Coordinator. Non-profit experience preferred, but not required.
Undergraduate degree is preferred but not required.
Experience managing organizational raffle license, preferred but not required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Raiser's Edge, Greater Giving and Acceptiva Fundraising software experience is preferred.
Excellent writing, editing and communication skills.
Ability to lift 15 lbs.
Working Hours:
40 hours per week
