Pastoral Theology & Director of Formation for Women CO Main Office, Greenwood Village, CO, US
The Graduate School of Theology of the Augustine Institute seeks a full-time Pastoral Theology & Director of Formation for Women.
The School seeks applicants who are deeply and broadly grounded in the sources of the Catholic faith - Sacred Scripture, the writings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, especially St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, and the pronouncements of the General Councils and Papal Magisterium - as well as conversant with the most fruitful trends in contemporary theology. A demonstrable commitment to serving the mission of the New Evangelization is required, as is the readiness to embrace the challenges and opportunities of distance education.
Competitive candidates will have clear and persuasive plans for the elaboration of a formation program for women in our on-campus program (average age mid-twenties) and a mentorship/accompaniment program for women in our online program (typically, mid-career professionals in Catholic lay ministry).
Duties include teaching in the M.A. Pastoral Theology program and extensive advising and mentorship of cohorts of online students.
M.A. in Theology required S.T.L. or Doctorate preferred 5+ years experience in parish, Catholic school, or diocesan work expected.
