Long Term Sub English Teacher

Marin Catholic is currently seeking a Long Term Substitute English Teacher from October 1, 2023 through December 20, 2023. The teacher would have three sections of English 10 (10th grade) and two sections of English 9 (9th grade).

The long term substitute will be supported by the Assistant Principal for Curriculum, Instruction and Catholic Integration; the Department Chair for English and the entire English department. Both English 9 and English 10 courses have full curriculums already designed for the year.

Qualifications, credentials, experience, knowledge & skills for the position:
1. English degree (or related field)
2. High School teaching experience, preferred
3. Practicing Catholic in good standing, preferred
4. Teaching credential, preferred
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, student and staff
6. Maintains best professional practices in communicating with peers, students and parents

The annualized salary for this exempt position is $66,948 - $105,169. Health benefits will be available for the months of October through December 2023 including dental.
