High School Literature and Writing Teacher

St. Joseph Academy is an independent, traditional, Catholic TK-12 school that teaches in accordance with the Magisterium. We are a member of NAPCIS (The National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools) and ICLE (Institution for Catholic Liberal Education).

Our current enrollment is 372 students, 97 of whom are in high school. We are seeking a second high school literature/writing teacher for 2023-2024 school year. Candidates must be loyal, practicing Catholics who are motivated, organized and possess a deep love for God, others, and a passion for communicating that love. A genuine affection and deep knowledge of traditional literature and writing, together with valuing the importance of grammar, the great books, and the literary imagination rounds out the ideal candidate. Training and support is provided. We are located in beautiful San Diego County, just 15 minutes from the ocean.
