Prenatal Medical Provider

Qualifications:

1) A licensed, practicing OB/GYN MD, Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Midwife with OB/ GYN experience.
2) Expresses full agreement with the Center's Mission Statement, and scope of care.
3) Treats clients and staff with compassionate care
4) Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
5) Is comfortable with working with at risk and low-income patients.

Bilingual English & Spanish a plus

Responsibilities:

1) Provide medical services as outlined in our scope of care. Including testing, diagnosing, treating, and monitoring diseases and issues related to women's health.
2) Monitoring and treating expectant mothers during pregnancy and postpartum.
3) Providing medical counsel and support to women during pregnancy.
4) Conducting screening exams such as Well Woman Exams, including PAP smears, pelvic and breast exams and select blood studies when indicated.
5) Reviewing and signing off on incoming labs and imaging reports.
6) Ensuring complete and accurate medical documentation in our EMR.
7) Direct communication with Nurse Manager
8) Collaborating with other medical and non-medical personnel.
9) Keeping up to date with current practices and compliance measures.

Aid to Women Center was founded in 1985 and has been providing women's healthcare services since 2000. We currently have two medical centers with an OB/GYN, Certified Nurse Midwife, & Primary Care Doctor. We provide prenatal care to low income women up to delivery but do not deliver.

Aid to Women Center provides competitive pay. Hourly rate varies by provider type (OB/GYN vs. Nurse Practitioner) and years of experience.
