Humanities Teacher

Due to growth in our student body, we are seeking upper school teachers familiar with classical, Catholic liberal arts education and are enthusiastic about teaching youth. Candidates must be loyal, practicing Catholics who are motivated, organized and possess the ability to challenge, encourage and lead students. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not required.
We are accepting applications for a Humanities Instructor in grades 9-12. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of an undergraduate degree and a solid understanding of Catholic Liberal Arts. This individual will be responsible to teach history, literature and composition. Familiar with Great Books. Course work could include: Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Middle ages, US Government and Modern period. Candidates will have the ability to encourage, challenge and engage students. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Background in Latin is a plus.
