Paramus Catholic High School seeks an inspiring music teacher/music minister who is responsible for teaching elective music classes to students in grades nine through twelve. In addition to his/her teaching duties, the music teacher is the music minister for monthly School Masses, Prayer Services, and other school ceremonies (some examples include Junior Ring Ceremony, National Honor Society Induction, Baccalaureate Mass, and Graduation). In conjunction with the Campus Ministry Team and the school's Administrative Team, this person will work to engage students in various forms of music throughout the school year. The music teacher reports directly to the Fine Arts Coordinator and the Dean of Academics.
Due to the nature of the position requiring active participation in the Catholic Mass, the ideal candidate would be an active and practicing Roman Catholic, but others may apply.
